DHS-1960 More Memorabilia

The DeVilbiss High School Class of 1960 Held its Forty-Year Reunion on
June 10, 2000--It Was A Spectacular Event, Worthy of the New Millenium!

Thanks to Ed Miller for the pennant pic!

Now here's something I bet you never thought you'd have!

Tanya Hood's mother used to cook in the DHS cafeteria during our school years, and guess what? She made those fabulous peanut butter cookies we all dearly loved, for which Tanya (bless her heart) was kind enough to give us the receipe. So, in case anyone wants to break out the old mixing bowl, here is her information on how to bake those beauties:
"OK everyone here  is the Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe. It makes a lot of cookies so I usually  divide it in half.
This full recipe makes about 200 cookies!

4 cups granulated sugar
15oz  brown sugar
7 eggs
3 cups shortening
2 cups peanut butter

Cream  the above together

combine with:

4 cups flower
2 tablespoons  soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vanilla

Bake for 12 minutes at 325  degrees

2 cups - 1 pound
8oz - 1 cup

Good luck, happy memories.  Tanya

Dave Ryerson, Bob Elwell, George Pugh and Dave Wise are in the above picture. Can you find them? This snapshot also shows two DHS-61 grads: Doug Boyer and Fred Deeb. Did we miss anyone?

No one knows who these kids are. They could have been any of us! The photo dates back to 1959.

Back when cars WERE cars! Is yours there?

Speaking of great old cars, Doug Laumann snapped this beauty in August 1999 while he was in Sandusky. No, it doesn't belong to any of our classmates!
